International Year of Astronomy 2009
Galileian Nights from Thursday to Saturday 22nd-24th October 2009
Weather permitting Tuorla Observatory arranges telescope viewing with
the largest telescope in Finland and the movable telescope of Turun Ursa.
The purpose is to concentrate on Jupiter and its moons, the very objects
Galilei himself observed.
Tuorla Planetarium
has additional shows, which are available to everybody at the price of our
discount, or Sirius, ticket. Galileian Nights is one of the
cornerstone programmes of the International Year of Astronomy.
