Theoretical models of Dark Energy
A number of theoretical models will be reviewed at a conceptual level. Among them are scalar field models, which truly represent new forms of energy causing accelerated expansion, but also modifications of Einstein's gravity permitting accelerated expansion without the introduction of new forms of energy.
