Edinburgh
This is not meant to be a thorough presentation of the capitol of
Scotland but merely a few interesting views from August 2000.

Several bagpipe bands were practising for
Edinburgh Tattoo. The most famous military tattoo in the world,
this time the 50th anniversary tattoo, began on the previous day (4th
of August) and was going to last for 22 more.
Front courtyard, the Esplanade, of
Edinburgh Castle was furnished with seats and other equipment in
its rôle as the scene of Edinburgh Tattoo.
