Mercury on the Sun
Mercury, the closest planet to the Sun, passed between us and the Sun on Wednesday 7th of May 2003. This happens quite rarely, more than ten years apart, and captivates therefore the interest of astronomers and laymen alike. Here is a brief account on the event at Tuorla Observatory.
