ORM: Nordic Optical Telescope (NOT)

The dome, with yours truly in front.
Observing room 2
The observing room equipment. The computer in the middle operates the telescope and the one to the right of it operates most of the instruments.
Primary mirror and SOFIN
Yours truly and his mother in front of the primary mirror. The instrument attached to the telescope is SOFIN (also known as the submarine).
Secondary mirror
Support structure for the secondary mirror underneath the mechanism which operates the upper hatch open and closed.
ALFOSC and StanCam dewers
ALFOSC attached to the telescope. In front the dewer for liquid nitrogen that keeps the camera cold. On top the dewer for StanCam, which is a smaller camera always attached to the telescope.
