The neighbour of Tuorla Observatory, Tuorla Agricultural School, organized an agricultural happening, Kantri 2002 with 'western' theme on this day. Tuorla Observatory put up a presentation stand where people could see presentation folders of astronomy and of the observatory. There was also a PowerPoint presentation of Tuorla Observatory running on a laptop computer. Altogether about 90 people attended four guided tours to the observatory.
