Coordinate Conversions in Astronomy, version 2.3; March 2002

Reported bugs and update status

BUG: A coordinate such as -0 15 45 is interpreted 0 15 45 by the program.
FIXED: In version 2.1.

BUG: Minutes of input longitude are displayed incorrectly in the result page (the conversion is still correctly calculated).
BUG: Web form input is not always transferred to the program but previous settings and values may be used instead.
FIXED: In version 2.11.

BUG: Sometimes time and coordinate values are presented in form 11 h 35 m 60.0 s instead of 11 h 36 m 0.0 s as they should. The total time/coordinate is however correct.
NOT FIXED: ...will be sometimes, I won't hurry because this is not a serious bug...

BUG: Conversions to and from horizontal coordinates are off by almost a degree in most cases and up to over 20 degrees (!) in negative altitudes.
NOT FIXED: ...working on it, this is a serious bug and I try to find it as soon as possible...

BUG: Conversions from galactic to equatorial coordinates are always made in the epoch B1950.0 no matter what epoch user gives in the web form.
NOT FIXED: ...will be ... please have patience...

BUG: Program simply does not do the conversion but shows the result page that contains results of the previous successful run.
NOT FIXED: ...this has to do with the web server and will be fixed when I figure out what the heck is going on...

-empty input is automatically replaced by a 0 (zero)
-one bug fixed (see above)

Improvements in version 2.11, finished on 05 AUG 1999:
-coordinates may be given in format '45 deg 40.5 min' or '45.675 deg' instead of '45 deg 40 min 30 sec' (however, the input coordinates are shown in full 'degrees minutes seconds' format in the result page)
-two bugs fixed (see above)
