The conference is to be held at the "Educarium" building (T47 on the map, towards the upper middle).
Turku city centre is to the left of the map, and is about a 15 minute walk from the conference venue.

The University is one of five higher learning institutes in Turku.
With 3000 staff and 19000 students (1000 of them foreign), it is one of the
larger universities in the Baltic area, and is a member of the Coimbra Group,
a network of prestigious universities in Europe. Teaching is primarily in Finnish
but English language courses form a large fraction of the curriculum.

Department of Information Technology, University of Turku
Co-host of the conference, the IT Department is one of the newest at the University, and combines
former departments of computer science and electronics and telecommunications technology.
Tuorla Observatory
Co-host of the conference, Tuorla grew under Professor Mauri Valtonen's directorship during the 80's and 90's
to one of the largest and leading astronomy sites in the Nordic area.
