The conference itself is to be held at the
"Educarium" building on the campus of the University of Turku. The venue is
marked at T47 on the map (near the top). Turku city centre is
to the left side of the map, and is about a 15 minute walk from the
conference venue.

Here is a quick quide to the Finnish on the map:
Turun Yliopisto | University of Turku |
Aurajoki | The river "Aura" |
Rautatieasema | Central railway station |
Linja-auto-asema | Central bus station |
K-tori | Kauppa-tori, the central market place |
Yliopistonkatu | University street, site of hotel Centro |
Set on the the Aura river and adjoining the world's most beautiful
archipelago, Turku is a bustling town noted for its Universities
and emphasis on education and technologies. In 2004 Turku celebrated
her 775 birthday, hosting the meeting of the former Hanseatic League
towns, a major trading alliance on the Baltic sea in the Middle
Ages. Legacies of that time, two of her landmark buildings are the
superb Turku
Castle down by the harbour front and the very stately
Turku Cathederal
near the old market square; an afternoon's walk along the river
between these two places in the summertime is very lively, as Finns
flock into the open air during the times when the skies grow hardly
dark at night.
